UV Printer for on-demand, short-run production

The Mimaki UJF-706 is a high-end UV-curing flatbed inkjet printer with a roll-to-roll option. It's a great printer for sign and graphic shops, manufacturers, and packaging producers who want on-demand, short-run production and variable data printing.

The Mimaki UJF-706 prints on both rigid and flexible substrates such as metal, tin, acrylics, glass, styrene, PET, polycarbonate, shrink film and PLA, as well as coated and uncoated papers. Use it for promotional products, golf balls, POP displays, membrane switches, flexible packaging and name plates.

Direct print on a wide range of materials

  • Maximum print area is 27.6 (W)" x 23.6"(L)
  • Prints directly on media up to 5.9” thick including substrates with height differences (up to 0.08" difference)

UJF 706 variable Height

Prints exceptional, high quality, vivid images

  • High resolution output of 1200 x 1200 dpi, 600 x 600 dpi
  • Fine-art production quality even on transparent and colored media
  • Produces a wide variety of color scales including highlight colors
  • Fine image details and tiny characters are possible by using the white ink option and variable dot technology

Efficient and simultaneous color + white printing

  • Staggered piezo-electric drop on-demand print heads allow simultaneous, single pass printing of full colour and white inks in two lines.  Eg.  Print white ink layer under a colored image for a more vibrant color at double the speed
  • White ink can be either underprinted or overprinted with no loss of speed in the printer
  • Produce a haptic effect by printing different layers of ink and/or gloss

Different inks for hard or flexible substrates

  • 8-color Hard UV inks are scratch and chemical resistant with superior coloration
    • C, M, Y, K, LC, Lm, White, Clear
    • Use for flat, 3D or variable form surfaces,  acrylic and aluminum compound boards, styrene board
  • 7-color Flexible UV inks with 200% elasticity can be cut, creased, embossed and scored after printing
    • C, M, Y, K, LC, LM, White
    • Use for jobs that form or bend and thin media, e.g.vehicle wraps, vinyl chloride film, packaging, banners
  • White ink is extremely opaque, produces vivid colors on transparent or colored substrates
  • Clear ink produces varnish-like gloss to brighten colors, or to protect surface coating
  • Ozone-free/VOC-free ink is healthier for your staff and the environment

RasterLinkPro5 RIP software allows reverse printing

  • Reverse print functionality allows your print operators to select either a white ink overprint or underprint. The  software then determines the most efficient path for higher productivity without further operator intervention
  • 16 bit rendering provides smooth gradations without tone jumps
  • Multi-job/variable data print functionality
  • Supports backside printing for productive and efficient workflow

Spray Suppressor System enhances print consistency

  • Improves print quality and consistency on all substrates
  • Prevents satellite ink drops from contaminating machine parts or producing a shadow or edge-splatter effect on output

Roll unit option for thin films

  • Prints roll-to-roll substrates such as thin flexible packaging films
  • Allows for continuous on-demand printing of the same or different images with or without variable data
  • Streamlines your production and frees your operator to attend to other tasks while printing
