The Mimaki UJF-3042 is a small format flatbed tabletop printer that provides excellent value for its price tag. It’s powerful. It's compact. And it uses the latest inkjet technology...UV-LED curing. It's a great addition to your print shop if you're interested in producing on-demand or variable-data short run jobs. Use it to print promotional items, gifts, novelties, badges, cards, packaging, labels, stickers, electronic cases and even bottle caps. Because it's a UV printer, you'll be able to produce high quality durable output in a fraction of the time it would take using a traditional pad or screen printer.

Direct print on a wide range of uncoated materials

• Direct print on heat-sensitive media, such as acrylic, foam core or cardboard without warping because the UV LED lights emit no heat, unlike conventional printers. No need for mounting
• Maximum print area is 11.8” (W) x 16.5"(L)
• Direct prints on media up to 1.97” thick with adjustable head height

High resolution 1440 x 1200 dpi output

• Prints 1440 x 1200 dpi to 720 x 600 dpi
• Produces high quality, sharp, bright, colorful images on transparent, colored and dark media and even on metal too
   

6 color printing

• Hard UV inks are available in C, M, Y, K, White and Clear offer superior coloration
• White ink is extremely opaque and can produce vivid colors on transparent or colored substrates       
• Clear ink produces varnish-like gloss to brighten colors, or as a protective surface coating
• UV inks are ozone/VOC-free so healthier for your staff and the environment
• UV inks offer excellent scratch and chemical resistance on the final output

Simultaneous color + white printing

• Two staggered piezo-electric on-demand print heads allow simultaneous, single pass printing of full colour + white inks in two lines. This lets you overprint or underprint white ink in one pass, thereby doubling your production time 
• Produces an almost haptic effect when printing multiple layers of ink and/or with gloss

RasterLinkPro5 RIP software allows reverse printing

• Reverse print functionality lets your print operators select either a white ink overprint or underprint. The software then determines the most efficient path for optimal productivity without further intervention from your press operator
• 16 bit rendering produces smooth gradations without tone jumps
