The AJet by Anderson DPC is a great solution for screen printers, sign shops, or graphics businesses that require a hybrid inkjet printer that can produce high definition output for indoor and outdoor applications. 

 

A UV hybrid printer 

The AJet is a hybrid inkjet equipped with a roll-fed take-up mechanism for printing on flexible substrates, and a panel support frame for printing on rigid materials. It’s a sturdy machine with an impressive weight-bearing capacity and can accommodate media up to 65" wide and 2.55” thick. 

It prints on foam board, acrylic sheets, glass, wood, aluminum, vinyl, and tile.  Use it to print POP, posters, banners, exhibition panels, wall paper, furniture panels, cabinet panels, glass, acrylics and more. 

7 color printing with white and varnish options

Capable of 5 color (CMYK+white) or 7 color (CMYK, LC, LM+white) high resolution printing, the AJet allows you to produce jobs that require high image quality, vibrant, vivid colors and good outdoor durability. It can simultaneously print 3 layers at a time, either color-white-color or color-white-black, making it an especially attractive machine for printing on transparent materials. Plus, its special laser beam alignment design increases the accuracy of backlit double-sided printing.

And like all UV curable printers, the AJet uses low VOC ink that’s healthier for your press operators and the environment. 

10 Konica Minolta Print heads with automatic head cleaning

The Ajet uses Konica Minolta heads with a 14 picoliter drop size to provide high definition printing up to 1440 x 720dpi. Eight heads are used for 7 color printing and 10 heads for 5-color printing. The AJet’s smart design integrates the ink line and the flush line making it easy for operators to automatically clean the print heads and keep nozzles in good condition. Plus the motorized height-adjusting mechanism makes it easy to accurately change the position of the print heads to accommodate thick or thin media.

Vacuum system reduces media slippage

To reduce waste and improve printing accuracy, the AJet’s vacuum area automatically recognizes and adjusts for your job’s size so even slippery or easily misaligned media is held flat, stationary, and secure when printing at maximum speeds of 301 sqft/hr.
